YOUR VOICE. YOUR MUSIC. YOUR POWER.
There is something that happens when a person finally stops shrinking and starts sounding.
I have spent my entire life in music and over fifteen years in teaching, coaching, and performing. What I know for certain is this: every single person has a voice worth hearing, an instrument worth playing, and a creative life worth living. Most of us just need someone to hold the space while we remember that.
Whether you are here for piano, voice, or accordion lessons, for one-on-one vocal empowerment coaching, or for the six-week Find Your Voice journey, you are in the right place. All of it lives here. All of it is connected. And all of it begins with you deciding you are worth showing up for.
I am so glad you are here.

LESSONS & WORKSHOPS
Piano. Voice. Accordion. For All Ages.
Music has always been medicine. It has always been magic. And it has always been yours, whether you have ever touched a piano or not.
I hold a Master's degree in Ethnomusicology from Florida State University and have been teaching private lessons in piano, voice, and accordion since 2009. My approach blends classical foundations with improvisation, composition, and multicultural musical styles, so that every student builds real skills while developing their own creative voice.
Every lesson is tailored entirely to you. Your age, your goals, your experience level, your taste. Whether you are a curious child discovering melody for the first time, a teenager who wants to write and perform original music, or an adult finally making time for the instrument you have always wanted to play, this is where you belong.
What lessons look like with me:
Technique taught in a way that actually makes sense for your body and your goals.
A mix of reading music, playing by ear, improvisation, and creative exploration.
Repertoire that genuinely excites you.
A nurturing, judgment-free environment where you are always encouraged and never rushed.
I offer lessons in-person in Cary, North Carolina as well as VIRTUAL. Reach out and let's find your sound together.

What Students and Families Are Saying
“My 9-yr old daughter has been learning piano and music with Ms Crystal since two years ago. As an award-winning musician, songwriter, and singer, she is so versatile and talented. As an educator, she is also exceptionally good at communicating with students like my daughter, as someone they aspire to musically and a friend that they can get emotional support from. This is very important because learning and practicing piano can be boring and intimidating for young students. Since my daughter started with Ms Crystal, her music journey has been magically smooth and full of inspirations and progress. I never have to help my daughter get out of frustration from practicing, because every difficult piece becomes easy and enjoyable after her lesson with Ms Crystal. Influenced by her teacher, my daughter has learned to play, improvise, and sing-along in a variety of music styles that she chooses. Over time I can clearly observe that she is gaining skills and confidence, and most importantly she is enjoying playing and appreciating music as part of her life. As of writing this testimonial, I am looking forward to their first studio recording that is now in planning. Whether you aspire to be a musician, singer, or instrument artist, or just would like to learn music, casually or rigorously, as a precious hobby, Ms Crystal is just such a extraordinary artist that fortunately happens to be willing to be your teacher!”

Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you teach?
I work with students of all ages, from young children just starting out to adults returning to an instrument they have always loved. If you are ready, I am ready.
Do I need my own instrument?
For piano students, yes, access to a keyboard or piano at home is important for practice between sessions. I am happy to give recommendations at any budget. For voice, you already have everything you need. For accordion, let's talk first and we will figure out the best path forward together.
Do I need to be able to read music?
Not at all. We will meet you exactly where you are, whether that is reading sheet music, learning by ear, or somewhere in between.
How long before I start seeing progress?
Most students feel a shift within their very first few sessions. Real progress builds steadily when you practice consistently, and I will give you tools that make practice feel enjoyable rather than like a chore.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are offered in-person in Cary, North Carolina or VIRTUALLY. Reach out to discuss availability.

VOCAL EMPOWERMENT COACHING
Your Voice Is One of the Most Powerful Things You Own.
Most of us have been taught, in one way or another, to make ourselves smaller. To speak less. To sing quieter. To hold back what is rising in us because someone told us it was too much, too raw, or simply not good enough.
That story ends here.
Vocal Empowerment Coaching is a holistic, one-on-one experience that weaves together vocal technique, somatic awareness, sound healing, solfeggio frequency work, and empowerment coaching to help you reconnect with the full, living power of your voice. Both literally and in every area of your life.
I bring my background as an award-winning professional vocalist, my certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and my deep study of sound healing methodologies into every single session. What we do together is something you will not find anywhere else. This is voice work that goes all the way to the root.
This coaching is for you if:
You feel blocked, tight, or disconnected when you sing or speak.
Your voice shakes in high-stakes conversations or creative spaces.
You have been told you cannot sing and you are ready to find out the truth.
You are a performer, speaker, teacher, or leader who wants to show up with more presence and power.
You are moving through a major life transition and reclaiming your voice is part of the journey.
Sessions are in person in Cary, NC or VIRTUALLY and are available individually or as an ongoing coaching package. A complimentary discovery session is always where we begin.
Investment
Single session (60 minutes): $80
3-session package: $230
6-session package: $450

What Clients Are Saying
“If anyone is feeling overwhelmed, powerless, depressed, etc.. I highly recommend doing this Vocal Empowerment session with Crystal! I was feeling pretty helpless and defeated due to some situations in my family. I felt like I had lost my voice which I have literally worked years to gain back. Crystal had me write out all the negative beliefs about my voice, and we did a meditation/visualization which was so healing and empowering! The next day, I felt my energy had shifted from helplessness and defeat to righteous anger and standing in my truth/power. Thank you for the support Crystal Bright! 💗🙌🏻 You’re the best 🥰”
— Julia, Greensboro, NC
“Crystal’s vocal empowerment workshop was beyond empowering. She created a safe, supportive space to release energetic blocks and shared practical tools I can use at home. I left feeling more grounded in my voice, free to express my truth, and empowered to set clear boundaries with confidence.”
— Casey, Greenville, NC
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same as a voice lesson?
It goes much deeper than a traditional voice lesson. Yes, we work on your literal singing voice, technique, breath, and tone. But we also work on the beliefs, patterns, and fears that have been keeping your voice small. The two cannot really be separated, and I do not try to separate them.
Do I have to be a singer to work with you?
Absolutely not. Many of my clients are speakers, teachers, coaches, and people who simply want to communicate with more confidence and presence. Your voice is not just for singing.
What does a session look like?
Every session is different because every person is different. We might move through breathwork, vocal exercises, sound healing, somatic body awareness, or deep coaching conversation. Sometimes all of the above. I follow what you need.
How many sessions will I need?
Some people feel a profound shift in just one or two sessions. For deeper, lasting transformation, I recommend committing to at least six sessions so we can really build on the work together.
Is there a discovery call?
Yes, always. I never want anyone to invest before we have had a real conversation and both feel aligned. Book your complimentary discovery call and let's see if we are a good fit.
FIND YOUR VOICE Workshop
A Six-Week Immersive Group Journey
This is the experience people come back to describe months later. Not because of what they learned, but because of who they became while learning it.
Find Your Voice is a six-week small-group immersion I designed to help you access, trust, and fully express the voice that is already living inside you. Each week we go a little deeper, moving through elemental vocal exercises, breathwork, sound healing, guided reflection, and group sharing, all within a space that is safe, intimate, and real.
By week six, the fear has loosened. The perfectionism has softened. And you will find yourself doing things with your voice, and with your life, that once felt completely out of reach.
Here is what is included:
Six weekly group sessions with me.
Elemental full-voice exercises drawn from proven somatic methodologies.
Breath, Technique, and Resonance tools
Sound healing and solfeggio frequency work woven throughout every session.
A curated workbook with reflection prompts to deepen your integration between sessions.
A community of voices rising together, held in honesty and encouragement.
I keep class size intentionally small to protect the intimacy of the container. Enrollment opens seasonally, and spots go quickly.

Investment
Full six-week program: $200
Payment plan available: $100 per month for two months
Enrollment is limited. Once the cohort is full, the waitlist opens for the next round.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any singing experience to join?
None at all. This program is not about becoming a performer. It is about becoming more fully yourself. People of all experience levels join and every single one of them belongs.
How long is each session and where does it meet?
Each weekly session is 90 minutes long. Sessions are currently held in Carrboro at GrrrlBands and virtually via Zoom / or both, depending on the cohort.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. I ask for your commitment and your presence as much as possible because the group energy is part of what makes this work. If you do need to miss a session, a recording and the week's materials will be available to you.
How is this different from private coaching?
Private coaching is one-on-one and goes deep into your personal history and specific blocks. Find Your Voice is a group experience, which means you also get the power of witnessing and being witnessed by others on the same journey. Both are transformative in different ways, and many people do both.
When does the next cohort begin?
Enrollment opens seasonally. Email me at crystalbrightbooking@gmail.com and you will be the first to know.
What ages do you work with?
Currently 14 and up. Please talk with me if you have anyone under that age who is interested.
